Your 9.5+38 poked out 3mm more then 9+35 which is 3mm more than 9.5+45. Do you have any pics of your 9.5+38 setup and details on alignment? Assuming rolled flat rear fenders, anything else done on them?

Mike it's an intricate game. The 9" does not stretch the 255 tire like the 9.5" does. You gain a little more clearance that way.

See below (the current alignment is F 2.5 R 3.1 (Max Caster, .025 Total Toe Rear). The tire plays a role too. The RE71 has a very round shoulder so it helped a ton with fitment. Previously I was running the Z2 which much more square at the shoulder.

The front fender is pulled professionally and repainted. The rear is cut flat (not rolled) and tab relocated.
