what size tires do i need?
i have sbc rpf1's in 17x8 +45 front and 17x9 +45 rear. i do not want to roll fenders. according to the sticky, i am looking at 215/45 for the front and 245/40 for the rear. am i correct?

A 215 on an 8" wheel will be stretched :/
Just get the proper tire sizes and make them fit. You spent the money for the wheels, now finish the job

215 on a 8" wheel is hardly a stretch and is within the conservative manufacturer's recommended fitment. 215/45, 245/40 is your best chance, will still be close to rubbing in the rear. I'd recommend running UK spec alignment, -1 camber front and -2 rear.

I rub the bumper tabs on the rear hitting dips at speed running the same exact setup. This past weekend a friend installed my Eibach pro-kit while I rolled the rear fenders and we trimmed the bumper/tab.
I havent had a chance to take it our since then(flat rear) but I'll let you know how it goes after that.
If you're going with the prokit you might want to consider rolling the fenders but you'll definitely need to trim the bumper and bumper tab.
