Wheel balancing weights
I've found a set of unicorn shoes JDM AP1 forged BBS wheels reasonably locally (about 250 miles away but unfortunately on another island), and while badly kerbed they're supposedly not cracked or bent, so I'm considering buying them. I've asked for pictures and the only thing that stands out to me at a glance is the number of weights fitted to one of them. Is this more likely to be due to tire imbalance or is it possible something's wrong with that wheel? See bottom of image...

I have a set that I balanced myself and one of the wheels took 2 ounces of weights (another took 1 and the other two took nothing). Frankly, even with an extra half pound of wheel weights between them all, you're still in perfectly reasonable territory and saving a ton of unsprung weight compared to literally any other AP1 sized wheel for, say, street class autocross.

Fair enough, just wasn't sure if I was being picky or not. Still, for about $US300 for the set I guess I can't complain.
