Wheel fitment

So, I'm shopping for some wheels and I'm completely oblivious as to what off sets to get.

I want an agressive fitment, but I don't want to have to do ANY modding to the car to get them to fit.

I want to run a 17; thats about all I know.

So, I guess my questions is: What is the most agressive off set that I can run without modification?

There's a pinned section called Wheel Fitment Guide up top. It should help answer most of your questions.

You can't have both. You are basically stuck with stock fitment if you don't want to roll the fenders. You might be able to get away with offsets ~15mm more aggressive if you are still at stock ride height.

Don't fixate on OFFSET. Minimizing offset simply means minimizing the wheel and tire width you can run.

A 255-width tire on a 17x9" +50 offset wheel will have the wheel lip and outer tire surface at the same position as a 205-width tire on a 17x7" +25 offset wheel. SAME flushness. The differences are that the +25 offset setup gives less grip, looks ridiculous, has scrub radius issues, and reduces effective suspension stiffness (wheel rate).

Of course some will insist that the +25 offset setup is more "aggressive"...

I think I'm just going to go with the OE AP2 fitment...

You could easily go with something like Enkei PF01 in 17x8 +50 front, 17x9 +60 rear with 225/45 and 255/40 tires, or 17x9 +60 all around with 245/40 front, 255/40 rear tires. Should fit without a problem with no mods.

Putting a properly sized spacer on can make it look aggressive as well.

Can't find those exact measurments.. would a 17x8+45 (F) and 17x9+45 (R) work without any stretching or tab relocations?

No. That rear will stick stick out 1" compared to stock.

You should be able to run stock AP2 sizes with those wheels: 215/45-17 front, 245/40-17 rear, with no mods. No promises though!

What 1nate7 said^^^, the outer wheel lip on the rears sticks out 1" further than a stock AP2 wheel. The outer edge of the tire tread, however, sticks out "only" 3/4" more than stock AP2.
