Wheel fitment
Hi all,
I have a 2002 s2000 AP1 in full oem condition. i am considering upgrading my current 16 wheels for 17.
Would OZ Alleggerita in the following size fit with oem 17 tyre size? I do not want to roll the fenders or rub and want to keep oem geometry settings.
Front 7x17 et49
Rear 8.5x17 et 59
Thanks in advance for relevant advice.

There are some reasonably priced reproduction AP2V1 (2004-2005) wheels available receiving good reviews from those who have purchased them (as opposed to negative predictions from those who didn't )
Several threads running on these wheels which will fit your car without modification.

That is basically an OEM AP2 fitment with 6 mm spacers. It is conservative and you would have no issues at stock height. It would even work on a lowered car or 225/255 tires. IMO, this wheel is one of the best choices for an OEM like fit.

Yeah it should be ok. I'd be more concerned if the car is lowered but as long as it's not slammed and you are careful should be ok. I would start with 215 and 245 for tires.

Thank you for prompt and helpful replies.
I am also considering Ohlins R&T which should result in lowering the car by 1.5 cm. But I will keep 215/45 and 245/40 oem tire size. Geometry will also remain stock.
Do you think combination of OZ with Ohlins may raise concerns?

Again not unless you lower it a lot. Still be careful with driveways or places where the front wheels are turned and the suspension is compressed. Check for signs of rubbing on the fender liner.
