What sizes did you get? And also, get them on a scale!

Just weight the 17x9 silver PF01 on my electronic shipping scale. Weight of rim with center cap registered 17 pounds 5 ounce. Not too bad for the price I guess.

Actual on track and autox testing in the US, Europe, and Japan all says the opposite... Just go to the racing and competition forum and look at track junkies and STR class autoxers... More rubber = faster. Plus You would be very hard pressed to say those guys car's dont have very sharp turn in. All that is needed to make the suspension work with it is a good adjustable front sway bar such as the Saner bar. You couldn't pay me to go back to a 225/255 setup. My 255x4 setup has proven to be a lot faster and a lot more fun. Plus I can run my big front bar really stiff to get amazing turn in and put the power down REALLY well while still avoiding understeer.

^ I don't think ur telling him anything he doesn't already know since he mentioned suspension tuning as a requirement (some will debate). He clearly demonstrated an understanding of what will happen by adding bigger front tires. Yeesh, forums.
Heres a pic of the Sparkle Silvers on a Silverstone.
17x9 +60 and 17x8 +50. Notice the Fronts dont have a lip like the rears do. I sorta like the staggered look. Also the color is absolutely sick in person. Much brighter than the Rpf1 silver. Very much akin to the Rays meteor silver on the RE030s
Also, it could be me imagining things, but the higher-offset rears (compared to the standard RPF1 fare) seems to handle better. There seems to be less weight transfer and suspension jacking. Perhaps this is why Rays has always offered a +63 fitment in their monobloc wheels. LMK if you want more pics.

I saw a set of these in person today and they are definitely what my next setup will be (only I have to go with the matte black instead of the silver) though white would be my preference. I can't wait to get a set and start running the non-stagger swagger. They sit amazingly flush I might add.

I'm really starting to like these wheels more and more every time I look at them. When need to get a group buy or vendor on board to get enkei to make some in a 17x9.5 +45 or 17x10 +50 size. Both of those would be awesome and I'm pretty confident given the already good price they wouldn't be very hard to sell at all.
I can't remember how many sets have to be ordered for a custom size for enkei. Some manufacturers only require an order of 10 sets. The 17x10 949 wheels sold more than enough that I know another wheel offered in that size would be pretty easy to sell 10 sets.
I can't remember if enkei was closer to 10 sets or 50....for some reason I'm leaning towards 50

Surprised no one has white yet.

Will the 17x9 +60 clear without mods on a car lowered 1" on Eibach's? I'm thinking of 215/45 and 245/40, or possibly 245 square.
The +60s are plug and play in the rear; so much so that you may want to run a 5mm spacer for a more agressive look. However, to me it feels like the higher offset complements the suspension better than my old 17x9 +45 RPF1s---more responsive and less 'jacking'.
+60s up front will rub the liner btw. the +48s would be a better choice for up front (and then youd pretty much be obliged to run a +48 in the rear to keep the track width proportional)
For performance, on stock swaybars, conservative alignment, and conventional spring rate bias, I would really recommend running a slight tire stagger. A sumitomo HTR ZIII in 225/255 is a good choice (the 225s in this tire are a bit oversized so its not as much of a stagger as it appears).
Some RPF1 comparison pics for fun. This is Mic_Crispy's car. RPF1= 9 +45 PF01= 8 +50. Both running HTR ZIII 225/45. actul footprint is pretty much the same. The 9 inch rim doesnt add anything besides a little more steering stiffness at the expense of increased inertia. The front of the car is still jacked up btw.

I really want a set of these.
I'm debating on going staggered or non staggered, and don't really know the ups and downs of each.
Would I be better off going:
17x9+60 (rear)
17x8+50 (front)
Or should I go 17x9+60 all around.
Will the non staggered fit without rubbing? 9 inches seems very wide for the front.
What would be the better option to go with and why?
Also, I CANNOT decide between black and silver, my s2000 is silverstone.

If you're mainly driving the car on the street, you probably should stick witht the staggered setup. A non staggered setup will make the car oversteer more easily, so most people run the nonstaggered setup with a stiffer front sway bar. 9" is wide but fits up front without because of the high offset.
I say go with silver if you want more of a classic look. If you track though, black hides brake dust a lot better.
