Will a 315/35 -17 fit stock height with 10x17 + 70
Has anyone been able to squeeze a 315/35-17 under the rear on stock suspension? I have some 17x10 + 70 wheels and I want to know if I am stuck with 275/40-17.

This is a difficult fitment. I did manage to make a 315/35/17 nt05 fit on stock/cut fenders with a slight 3mm pull running a 11.5 +63. The nt05 runs narrower then any other tire in this size worth running fyi and has a very slight sidewall stretch on that rim width, which is what actually helps it fit as the suspension compresses. My suspension is lowered about 1.5". It would be pinched on a 10, but your offset is in the ballpark and with stock suspension you just might get lucky, but its really going to be too close to call. You really could have rubbing outside or inside with this tire, static camber adjustment is going to influence your fitment for sure. No risk no reward lol Buy one maybe, get it mounted and test. Going through all my measurements on this it truly is looking like a 50/50 in your case because of the variables. If it was clearly not going to fit I would say so.

There is zero reason to run that wide of a tire on that wheel. A 255 with a wide tread pattern fits a 17x10 perfectly. Run a stickier compound if you need more grip. Also have a sneaking suspicion you’ll have rubbing issues either inside on the arch someplace.

:Oh running drag radials. Cool they fit for ya I guess your going for strait line and not worried about handling detriment. Throw a few pics up when you get a chance, curious how they sit on the car and 10" wheels.

Crossed my mind as well, but when you consider airing down the tire pressure the 315 should still give a wider contact patch on the 10". This is all purely for strait line traction. 15-18psi in the rear is common. On the street running that low of pressure probably isnt a great idea though.
