Default Z214 in 275/40

I was thinking of putting Hankook Z214's on my new ZE40's in 275/40R17 and 225/45R17. I think they should fit without modification, the 275 with my rims seem to fit the Fitment guidelines in the sticky. It seems like the consensus is that 225's fit even though outside the official guideline when you figure in max camber on stock.

I was also thinking maybe 275 is too wide for the tire to work effectively on a lighter car. What do you guys think.

17x7.5" 5x114.3 +48 Offset
17x9.0" 5x114.3 +61 Offset

I'm also putting RS4's on the stock rims in the OEM size.

275/40 is going to be very tall at 25.6" total diameter.

255/40 is a much better choice because it's the correct diameter, better match for the wheel width, and keeps stock stagger.

Right, I should have thought of that fact.
