Quite possible, I'd say remove the bits slowly just in case, and watch for stuff dropping.

Make sure it isn't chilly out when you do it, plastic and cold don't play well together, but I'm sure you know that.

Looking forward to 2 weeks off, one week is for work, the other is Houston for spring break.
