Hello! I am looking to rent an S2K in the Chicago area on Saturday, June 22 of this year. My fiancé drove an S2000 when we started dating, but got rear-ended and subsequently the car was totaled. I have seen him look longingly at S2Ks ever since. June 22 is our wedding day and I would absolutely love to surprise him with one to drive from the church to the reception, but I am having a lot of trouble finding one to rent! Could anybody here give me any advice on how I might be able to do this? It would mean a lot to him! Thanks!!

 

I think you're going to need to find some specialty rental place. No major rental car company will rent this car, never mind a manual.
