Kimi managed to win a race in a Lotus. A LOTUS for crying out loud.
Sorta.....

Whatever, it's still the Lotus team. And Kimi is still a tool.

Well, that was a fun race weekend. Thoroughly impressed with Hamilton, Massa, Alonso (in that order). Love that transmission move by the Scuderia -- obeying the law to the letter and making it work for them.

Those hats on the podium, though.... now that was ri-god-damn-diculous.

Really? I can't imagine the outrage if RBR had done this for Vettel. Further, I wonder how the others that were forced to the slick side felt about this.

Overall I think this race was good for Texas, great for F1 fans In the U.S., and hopefully the start of long term success

But the goofy hats have to go. I wonder if they were Pirelli's idea

True enough... I probably would have been whining up and down with the best of them. Who else did it affect?

They did say, though, that it wound up not being a huge advantage as both sides were still super slippery.

Massa moved down 5 spots. 5 cars would have moved up one spot and changed sides on grid

I just put up a feeler thread for meeting to watch the Brazilian GP together in Milwaukee this weekend in the main forum; any interested parties please do reply, as I'd love to decide what to do ASAP.

True, but one of them was Alonzo, and some of them moved from the dirty side, to the clean side. I don't remember who, but I think it only moved two people to the dirty side (plus Massa himself.)

Red Bull should have done the same thing to Webber's transmission to put Alonso back on the dirty side of the grid. Especially now knowing that Alonso had a shitty diffuser compared to Massa.
