Alonzo going P1 during Q1 was awesome. Sure, it was on SuperSofts and everyone else was on Inters. But it still made a statement, and I liked it.

Kubica tested the new Renault yesterday, lots of buzz saying that they'd like him to take over Palmer's spot from Spa onwards. His career was during the time when I wasn't watching F1 and he hasn't been involved since that gnarly injury so I don't get the hype but it sounds like a lot of people are very keen to see him return. Could be interesting!
