NBCsn really f'ed up this race. There's no consistency for when they have the split screen, or just commercials. There also seemed to be a lot more commercial breaks than previous races too, was really annoying. They have done well for the English football matches, but their F1 coverage is crap.

I had a live youtube feed going at the same time (thanks JHo) and although it had a delay it was much better than NBCsn. I usually don't mind Hobbs, but he bugged me a little with this one, it may be time for his retirement.

It was painful how much NBC missed on track and in the pits. Just lunacy.

And Hobbs got so much wrong. It's time to bring in somebody more relevant. I nominate Will Buxton for play-by-play and Townsend Bell for analysis. He does really well with Indycar and has the European feeder series pedegree to know the people currently in F1. I dream of Jenson Button guest commentating a couple races.

But with ESPN I think next year will be a step back in coverage. I will really miss Paddock Pass that NBC produces for the internet. Hopefully Liberty Media gets this streaming going ASAP.

Overall quali was insane and the race was good. Race would have been potentially epic if Seb hadn't missed the race.

Very cool

I'd like to go to an F1 race someday, I should've gone the first year to COTA, but I didn't and the prices have skyrocketed since

Montreal GA was only $19 on Sunday. Lucked into a deal it seems.

That seems awfully cheap.

Should.

I'm just going for the race, then going to spend some of the next week in Montreal. Just make it into an actual vacation.

Well that was a good one.

Renault made the right call with Sainz, he did really well.
McLaren...sigh.

Looks like Lewis will be crowned next weekend.
