pete, how is the oem cover out in the elements, or is it more of a dust cover only? i'm looking into getting one.

It's just a dust cover. It's not water-proof.

The best solution IMO is to get an OEM cover, and then a weatherproof one from Autozone or Advance Auto Parts for $20-40 on top it.
