You'll have to contort yourself to get a good view but the goal to the squeeze the metal, gold-ish colored table on the side of the button. You can see it just peeking out from the fascia. You can either squeeze it hard or put a thin plastic tool into the tab. It is the only thing keeping the Start button connected to the dash.
