6-25-2017. Yet another fire in southern California. A car crashed into a tree on the 14 freeway. It closed the freeway and made me detour to get home from Santa Clarita/Sand Canyon, California. I drove through falling ash, smoke and saw burning hillsides before thinking, "I'm not risking my life or my car, even though the fire department is flagging cars through."
