1. Weasel497's Honda Deep Burgundy Metallic
Why not start the show with this beauty, Weasel497’s old S2K. Customized from a black base coat, mixed with the burgundy pearl, the color seems to take on a life of its own depending on the lighting. In really bright settings, Weasel mentioned it could seem reddish-maroon, while purple in the shade. The car sits on 17x9 +45 matte black Fifteen52 Tarmacs, that perfectly compliment the many shades of this color. The RX7 style side splitters also look great too!
2. Okaydel’s Teal Vinyl Wrap
I don’t know what it is about this car, maybe it's the simplicity, but the wrap is done so well I can’t stop staring. Okaydel poured his passion into this car, reviving it from a bit of mistreatment from its previous owner. After some very detailed prep work, the vinyl was meticulously laid covering all of the body panels, including the door jams as well. Staggered Enkei RPF1's do a great job complimented the rest of the cars trim work.
3. S2kep3’s Rootbeer Metallic Brown
Brown is pretty unique in the sense that it can either be another bland color or blow people’s minds. S2kep3’s Rootbeer rendition certainly does the latter. It's a very calm color, that is brought to life by the gold that’s mixed in. The extra pearl ends up giving a sort of bronze look. His photoshoot shows how seemingly natural the color is, being able to both blend in the scenery and standout at the same time. That paired with the polished set of staggered CCW wheels makes for an exciting and new color combination.
4. Bouford's Aston Martin Cobalt Blue
What started as an already near perfect example of a low mileage S2000, turned into this masterpiece. The Aston Martin Cobalt Blue has that subtle sheen to it, one that you find from top luxury cars. Its carbon fiber trim and ASM body pieces create a balance of contrast, that is really appreciated under the bright sun. All the while 17” Silver SA3RV2s tuck nicely under the widened wheel wells. Buford’s build thread shows the journey from stock perfection to ASM madness.
5. Neeekd's GTR Purple
Purple is another one of those particular colors that’s fairly hard to pull off. Neeekd managed to do it perfectly on his AP1, not only once but twice. After experiencing a minor accident, Neeekd got an opportunity for a respray and added hints of blue and gold pearl to deepen the color a bit. After repairing some rear suspension issues, he topped it off with fitting some Volks TE37s. Neeekd did some awesome modifications to his car but found it wasn't as fulfilling as he'd hope and has since sold the car.
6. Hybridz0r’s New Imola Orange Pearl
Starkly different from the rest on this list, Hrbridz0r’s New Imola Orange Pearl stands out from the crowd. The color is beautiful and adapts to its surrounding light. Turning from a deep bright orange to crisp pearl in darker lights. The color is a revision of the extremely rare Imola Orange – which was initially painted for only 34 units.
