With the Honda S2000 being most popular in Japan and the United States, Vincent Ong proves that Canada could be just as good when it comes to building an incredible car.

1. Vincent Ong

Vincent Ong was born in the Philippines, and even though he grew up with his father owning a bakery, cars were his true passion. His father was no stranger to cars, as he owned numerous vehicles that he worked on himself. When Vince was only five years old, he cut himself while helping his father change the wheel on one of his cars, which resulted in oil getting into the cut, and to this day, Vincent still has an oil scar on his finger that will serve as a reminder that cars are his true passion.

When Vincent was old enough, he started his life with a 1989 Toyota Camry, but his dream didn't truly become reality until he bought his 2007 S2000.

2. Engine

Although the build took quite a few years, Vincent didn't waste much time modifying his new purchase. Upgrading the stock engine, the fuel injectors were replaced with Injector Dynamics 1,000cc ones. The unwanted engine gases get to escape through an ASM 70mm stainless-steel exhaust, and the motor gets its spark from the performance NGK spark plugs. On top of the AP2's engine is a Kraftwerks High Boost Rotorex C30-94 Supercharger. The engine upgrades allow Vincent's S2000 to deliver 380-horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque.

3. Suspension

Supporting the 380-horsepower engine is a set of BC racing type BR coilovers, as well as Swift coil springs. In the front, Vincent installed an Eibach sway bar and end links. He replaced the front strut bar with an ARC performance one, as well as equipped the suspension system with an EVS Tuning rear toe arms. Finally, to complete the handling upgrades on the S2000, he installed Buddy Club P1 Racing roll center adjusters, Hard Dog roll bar, and Bulkhead crossbar.

4. Wheels, Tires, and Brakes

Vincent's Honda S2K sits on a set of Rays Volk Racing TE37SL Black edition wheels, which measure 18x10-inch in the front with a +40 off-set; and 18x10-inch with a +30 offset in the rear. Wrapped around the wheels is a set of 255/35/18 Toyo R1R tires. Finally, the stock brakes were replaced with Spoon mono-block front brake calipers, lines, and rotors, with XP8 pads in the rear and Carbotech XP10 pads in the front.

5. Exterior

The exterior saw a complete facelift, thanks to the Voltex Carbon Circuit Version front bumper. Vincent also installed front canards, carbon-circuit, and a beautiful, large, 1,600mm carbon-fiber wing in the rear. On the sides of the S2000 are two J's racing Type S side skirts that lead to the rear AP1 conversion bumper. The top was equipped with a Mugen carbon-fiber hardtop, and the lights were converted into JS2K HID, with LED signal lights. The fenders were replaced with wider ones, creating a mean, wide stance.

6. Interior

Finally, to complete this Honda S2000, which is still work-in-progress is you can believe it, Vincent installed two Bride Gias Low Max carbon-fiber seats with Takata harnesses. The stock steering wheel was replaced with a Nardi deep corn 350mm one, and in the center, the wheel features a Works Bell short hub. The shifter was complemented with a Skunk 2 shift knob, and the cabin was given a nice custom red stitches on the door panels. Lastly, the interior was given an Alpine 9887 head unit, dash control interface, and a Compustar two-way alarm.
