Daily Slideshow: ATS Garage and Plus ONE Join Together to Make Christmas Brighter
When you combine kickass cars and toys for needy kids, it just doesn't get any better.
1. Cool Cars, Great Cause
Christmas is a time of pure joy for young and old kids alike, but it isn't that way for everyone. For some less fortunate folks, the holidays are a stressful time as parents try to scrape together whatever they can to give their kids a Christmas they'll always remember. Thankfully, there are a lot of kind-hearted folks out there willing to do whatever it takes to make sure every kid has an awesome holiday. Including Northern California's ATS*Garage and Plus ONE, who teamed up this year to put on a killer toy drive and car meet.

2. Coming Together
The annual event was open to anyone and parking was free. The only caveat? Participants were asked to bring an unwrapped toy to donate. And Bay area residents showed up in throes, cruising down in just about any kind of ride you can imagine. From lowriders to domestic iron, everyone came together for what is obviously a more than worthwhile cause.

3. Something for Everyone
The selection of rides at this year's event was no doubt incredible. That includes lots of pristine Hondas. The selection consisted of what seemed like a literal boatload of Civics, including a super sanitary K24-powered seventh-gen example. Of course, we were most interested in the many varied S2000s, and this year's meet didn't disappoint. We counted at least a half-dozen AP1 and AP2 examples, all with their own distinct flavor.

4. For the Kids
This year marked the 11th straight year ATS*Garage and Plus ONE have teamed up for the holiday toy drive. Amidst some agreeable Northern California winter weather, it's always a great way for enthusiasts of every genre to show off their rides and scope out what others are doing. Throw in the fact that you're doing something great for hundreds of less fortunate families, and you've got an event that no one in the area should miss.

5. Making Christmas a Little Better
At the end of the day, hundreds of toys lined donation tables. Everything was gathered up and distributed to boys and girls in need by the local fire department. And we'd like to think that all of them had a great Christmas as a result. All thanks to a group of kind-hearted enthusiasts who love nothing more than showing off their rides and putting smiles on kid's faces!
