Evasive Maneuvers For This Supercharged S2000

Honda made it great but Evasive made it amazing.

Push it to the limit

The owner of this S2000 went to Evasive Motorsports back in April of 2015 to create something special. The owner of the car, who also owns a fully track ready E46 M3 CSL, an E92 M3 and a Porsche GT3 among other cars wanted another track machine that he could pilot about.

It's like an angry smurf

When Evasive got their hands on the S2000 they decide to remove the engine from the car before any of the fun stuff began. In went a V-mounted intercooler and a new radiator to keep things at the best temperature. Next was modification to the radiator core support to allow for the larger HKS intercooler and Koyo radiator. Custom ducting directs airflow through the intercooler and then going about its merry way out of ports cut into the hood.

With great power comes great ridiculous fun

The F22 engine got the upgrade treatment a complete teardown and the block being machined. Afterwards, a set of Darton MID sleeves were fitted and the cylinders were bored to 87 mm. The car pushes out 351 whp and 239 lb-ft of torque to make this quite the nimble bruiser around town courtesy of the HKS GT Supercharger.

Low but definitely not slow

Turning to the outside of the car, a complete Voltex Racing aero package making up a front bumper, carbon fiber lip spoiler, canards, side skirts, a carbon-fiber diffuser and over fenders hanging over each wheel. For a nice drop, there is a set of Evasive Motorsports spec TEIN SRC adjustable coilovers. For the wheels, there are Volk Racing ZE40 wheels mounted with Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08R tires.

Cabin comforts

In the cabin, some protection was installed with a custom tubular steel cage welded into the AP2. To get the chassis where it should be, the fabrication team stitched welded the shock towers to stiffen things up. Out back in the trunk, the floor was cut out before being fitted with custom chassis mounts for the Voltex Racing Type 7 carbon-fiber wing.
