Forum Member's Supercharged AP2 S2000 Build in Progress
The supercharged Laguna Blue Pearl S2000 was exactly what this forum member was looking for to start his perfect project.
Third Time's the Charm?
Honda's S2000 is, as they say in a particular potato chip ad, so good you can't have just one. The latest example of it is the case of Toronto resident and S2KI forum member Canadian144. Now on this third S2K, Ryan promises that this one will be the last. Whether that's true or not remains to be seen, but we're sure enjoying watching this awesome ride come together in his build thread.
Perfect Candidate
The OP already had a modded yellow AP1, but he wanted a car that he could boost and use FlashPro on. He really wanted an LBP S2000, but those were not sold in Canada, which created an obvious problem. So he started looking for one Stateside, and about a month later, he found the perfect candidate for sale across the border and within driving distance from Toronto. What's more, the car already packed a Kraftwerks blower.

Slow Swap
The AP2 was already in pretty mint condition, so the OP just drove and enjoyed it for a while, slowly swapping over parts from his AP1. That included the Bride Zeta 2, RedlineGoods re-wrapped interior bits, CR radio door, and Alpine head unit. He also went ahead and swapped the Skunk2 catback and vibrant HFC for a Tanabe Medallion and EVS catback, and installed EVS diff collars and a Renegade shifter bushing.

Problems Arise
Unfortunately, a sheared VTEC solenoid bolt (along with some other faulty bolts) soon put a quick halt to all this fun. But the OP did the right thing and replaced all of them with beefy ARP pieces.

Hit Restart
After that minor but important repair, work continued. The next steps were swapping over his Forbidden 2-piece hardtop brackets, RSG hardtop, and Billman Gen-X TCT from his AP1.

Winter Projects
And for now, that's where this build stands. But the OP isn't done yet - not quite. Future plans call for swapping over all the suspension goodies from his AP1, which should make for a nice winter project.

Future Plans
Ryan also wants to replace his bumpers and fenders, upgrade the cooling system, paint all the body panels to match, and complete some basic maintenance. So far, we like where this build is going. So be sure and head over to the thread to keep up as it progresses moving forward!
