Live from SEMA: This S2000 Brakes Under Pressure

Customized roadster

Zach Leitzke brought his Honda S2000 to SEMA and it's hardly a surprise that it got noticed. Perched in the Sparta Evolution booth, his 2JZ-swapped customized roadster was sporting a set of high-performance brakes. Making its SEMA debut were Sparta Evolution's new Triton Truck Calipers, featuring unique mounting geometry to accommodate a greater range in wheel/tire combinations, internal cross-over pipe and forged 2-piece design with an attractive hard anodized finish.

No pressure here

Zach's company, Under Pressure Racing, is a Tacoma Washington based automotive repair and customization shop that specializes in custom turbo kits and also fabricates all parts from turbo manifolds to intercoolers, radiators, roll cages, bash bars, and more. According to their website, they can build turbo kits for any engine/chassis combo. Having been around for a while now, Under Pressure Racing Development prides itself in high-quality custom fabrication and hand Tig welding.

Vibrant performance

Zach used all Vibrant Performance components for all his fabrication needs such as the Vibrant HD Clamps, Intercooler Core, all the -AN Fittings and Hoses, Ready-To-Weld out of the box Aluminum and Stainless tubing, Oil Cooler Core that is removable with the Vibrant quick-release -AN fittings, V-Band Clamps and much more. His 2JZ engine swapped S2000 was even nominated for the first-ever JE Pistons Master of Motors Award.

Clean and shiny inside and out

Zach and his crew added a lot of definition in the trunk panels. One side is painted to color match the vehicle, and the other side is fully polished to match the aesthetics in the trunk. To say that Zach thought about everything is perhaps an understatement.

Suede and leather

Under the roll cage, you will find that Canvas Technologies has updated the interior with UV protected suede as well as some leather pleated seat cushions for what Zach calls their "ultra carbon seats."
