Ultra Clean

Thanks to their popularity and skyrocketing values, it isn't terribly difficult to find nice Honda S2000 examples out there in the wild. They may not always be what one might call cheap, but they're out there, regardless. One of the cleanest S2000s we've seen in a while recently crossed the block at Cars & Bids, too - this 2005 Suzuka Blue beauty, which failed to sell with a high bid of $28,500.

One Mod

There aren't many bones to pick with this particular S2000, which has just 27,900 original miles, with a clean history to boot. It's also bone stock, save for the addition of a Revel Medallion cat-back exhaust, which is easy enough to change back to OEM if the new owner desires.

Minor Wear

Otherwise, there's nothing here but original Honda goodness - factory 17-inch wheels, a black power-operated soft top, HID headlights, and a few exterior wear items worth mentioning, such as a couple of rock chips and dents.

Matching Threads

The interior of this blue beauty is likewise in amazing shape, save for the typical driver-side bolster wear. Otherwise, the matching blue leather upholstery is in fantastic condition, and everything here is 100 percent correct as well.

Plenty of Amenities

As is the case with every S2000, there are plenty of amenities present inside the cabin as well. Those include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, digital instrument cluster, power everything, cruise control, and aluminum pedals.

Familiar Powerplant

Power for this sanitary ride comes from Honda's quite famous 2.2-liter F22C1 inline-four-cylinder engine, which generates 240 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. That power flows to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

Supply and Demand

Despite attracting considerable interest, this nice AP2 ultimately failed to sell at auction, but we imagine that it won't last long. After all, it may be relatively easy to find nice, low-mile S2000s these days, there's also still a pretty heavy demand for those cars, too.
