Perfect Pairing

Good things, as they say, come in twos. And that's especially true when you're talking about the rare and highly coveted NSX Type R. Now, some lucky soul will get the chance to own a pair of the finest first-gens in existence thanks to BH Auction.

Rare and Desirable

The first of this dynamic duo is a 1995 NA1 Type R, of which just 464 examples were produced over a three-year span, with 157 built-in 1995 alone.

Stunning Example

This particular 92R is finished in Grand Prix White with a red and black interior. And it might just be the nicest one left in existence, with just 534 miles showing on the odometer.

Costly Import

We're finally getting to the point where these cars are 25+ years old, which means you can easily import them to the U.S. But it'll cost you a pretty penny to secure this stunning example, of course, with an auction estimate of $227,000 - $272,000.

More (or Less) of Everything

Aside from the prestigious Type R designation, this particular car enjoys 10 extra horsepower over the base NSX, in addition to a 308-pound weight savings and numerous suspension upgrades.

Even Rarer

We're hoping that whoever secures that stunning '95 also goes full bore and picks up this gorgeous 2005 NSX-R as well, obviously. This fine example of the very last top-of-the-line NA2 is even rarer than its stablemate, with just 140 produced in total.

Add Downforce

Many of the same performance enhancements featured on the NA1 Type R are present on the NSX-R as well. It does carry a host of carbon fiber bits in addition, which helped make it one of the few cars of its time to actually generate downforce.

Lofty Price Tag

With just 348 miles on the clock, this NSX-R has to be one of the lowest-mileage examples on the planet, if not the lowest. So it's no surprise that the auction estimate stands at a lofty $345,000 - $436,000.

Staying Put

The only bad news? You'll have to wait another decade before you can bring this bad boy to the states. Perhaps the new owner, if a U.S. citizen, could also afford a nice Japanese garage to keep it in until then.

Dream Garage

Both of these amazingly preserved slices of sports car history will cross the block at BH Auction's Tokyo sale in July. So if you're so inclined, you might want to go ahead and book those plane tickets now.
