S2KI's Top 5 From Petersen Japanese Car Cruise-In

Any Japanese-only car show anywhere in the world will always have at least a few good examples of the Honda S2000 to represent the following that these legendary roadsters have gathered over the years. And there's no shortage of enthusiasm for the S2000 in Los Angeles. So it's no surprise to see such a massive turnout of super high-quality S2Ks. The following are the ones that captured our imagination the most. 

5. Miss Vaaaanjie

Aside from the gorgeous paint color, those awesome wheels, and the custom double-scoop hood, this AP2 features a subtle queer culture reference as well. Specifically, it's a nod to the popular drag queen Vanessa Vanjie Mateo (AKA Miss Vanjie), whose name you can see on the bumper sticker on this Honda.  

4. Track-Ready

The imposing presence of this modified and track-focused S2000 is hard to overlook in any crowd. And this Black on Yellow racer certainly caught our eye at the cruise-in. 

3. Fiery Red Beauty

It's always nice to see a tastefully modified S2000. And this gorgeous AP1 is as good of an example of one with nice and complimentary upgrades as you will see.

2. Bone-Stock

On the other hand, we can never get tired of looking at a perfectly preserved AP1. There is natural beauty to behold in the purity of these early S2000s. And this ultra-clean example has that beauty in abundance. 

1. Yellow Club Racer

And last but not least, topping our list is this bright yellow little monster. Always cause for a lot of envy, the Club Racer variation is a truly 'special' edition of the Honda S2000. And there's a reason to pause and appreciate the view every time we come across one.
