How it goes down

Holding a meet in a parking garage on a hot summer day with some of the best cars around is a fine way to get introspective. Did I park in the right place? I think I deserve a really nice car. Wait...do I make enough money? Why the hell is it so hot?!  That same sweltering humid heat that causes all of us to question if we should go any further than three feet from a fan didn't cause rows upon rows of cars from lining up for hours to casually roll into the garage.

Coming home

An interesting thing to note that SpeedHunters touched on is that in Seattle, it seems that the general public isn't bothered at all by the plethora of cars and are actually stoked to see all of the modded vehicles. StanceWars was actually created right in Seattle by Mike Tolliver and then branched out to other cities like Las Vegas, Houston, and East Rutherford, N.J. Toliver has so much fun with the show that word is he'll hide around 50 free tickets to the shows around the towns to bring in new blood who might not have otherwise attended the event.

Make it a whole weekend

The festivities began on Friday night with a VIP pool party at the Henry Moses Aquatic Center. Then the following day the wheel fitment showcase went down at the garage located in Bellevue College. StanceWars is organized in parking garages in a manner that puts the "Top 100" cars on the rooftop with each descending level filled with other entries. The day after that, in StanceWars fashion, a Slammed Sunday BBQ took place where everyone just hung out and enjoyed good company as well as good food.

Couldn't ask for more

With a meet happening in a garage it not only makes everything easy to find it keeps cars away from open lots where police can cruise by and start handing out tickets. The garage holds 7,000 parking spaces with all of them easily filled throughout the day. The garage also serves a great location for shooting pictures whether it's for a new lock screen wallpaper or an online publication (cough cough) as conditions will garner you various light sources as well as hues.

See for yourself

Be sure to look out for StanceWars when it comes to a city near you because if they are anything like this Seattle event was, this is something you are not going to want to miss.
