Couple reasons. I really want to make it one of kind. I love me a clean S2K with no mods, I just really wnat to make it mine. Also I want a little more torque.

clutch doesnt add torque, and the factory clutch is good to 300whp (plenty of room for torque) but hey its your car, enjoy it!

Stage 2 clutches provide greater clamping and torque capability with mildly decreased driveability respectively. They add some but not a ton. Unless you get a stage 5.

so youre saying if you went and installed a new clutch (Stage 2-5) and dyno'd it, the torque number would be higher, than if you took the exact same car with a stock clutch? just trying to make sure im understanding your point.

on a second note, hows that 2.2l?

Yes! A stage 2 clutch is going to grab harder and faster than the stock. A stage 2 clutch, depending on quality and brand, can increase torque capacity by almost 80%. I'm loving the F22C1! Hitting V-TEC almost makes me cry lol
