I just got an email from VIR to let me know that they are having charity laps on Wednesday April 3rd. If you have been before you know how much fun this is. This is right before the Dragon so a good way to get ready with a little track time

Mark your calendar and post up if you can make it.

 

I was literally just sitting here thinking 'I wonder when the Charity Laps are for this year'.

Interesting that it's on a Wednesday. Hopefully, if anything, that means less people, and more laps for those who can make it.

I'll have to check with my better half, but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to make it.

 

Hell Chris, if you take pictures as nice as the ones in the fall people will be driving to your house and dragging you there .

The Friday before is Good Friday so I am sure they don't want to have it on a day that a lot of people have off like they did last spring.

Those were bad ass photos good sir,

I need to upgrade the car before I attempt another VIR. The tranny is barely together and the diff was just replaced so I need a need clutch friction disc($350 from clutch masters) a used AP2 Tranny. Another Oil cooler, Upgraded rad fan for pass side, upgrade the Radiator again with a Koyo R version and probably some new rear tires. So all in all about $2000 and i should be good to go...so I doubt I will be there but looking into taking some leave for a dragon event....I keep hearing great thing about those. And I owe Brett for last years I missed *sadface*
