Hardtop storing help!

If you're the DIY type you could make your own hardtop stand. I have one myself and it does its job well.

Otherwise I don't see any issue with keeping it inside. Maybe cover it with a sheet or soft blanket to prevent anything from scratching it.

The rear glass is glued in.
I wouldn't put it glass down.
I went to Lowes, built the stand for 50 bucks, bought some bicycle hooks and mounted it up out of the way on the wall.
I did add some self tapping screws in the joints as glue failure is not an option.
It's an expensive accesssory and you need to spend 50 to protect 3 grand.

i would go with a hoist, easier solution, makes it a one person job.

Really though, I built it and hung it up there by myself, but an extra set of hands is MUCH safer.I'd like a hoist, but I'd only put the top on for any track days, so it makes sense to just put it away safe and out of the way of traffic in the shop.
