S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Would you ever...

I wouldn't trade one unless forced to for some other reason - i.e. need to downsize to one car. But it would be for an STi BRZ (if they ever come out). I am a big fan of the BRZ/FR-S, but just not over an s2k especially a CR. The BRZ/FR-S will be around for a long time & is readily available (my local dealer has 8 BRZs in the parking lot). The CR is a rare gem and will be hard to replace if you sell and decide to find another.

I thought both the FR-S and BRZ's are limited production. The Scion dealer by me said that the FR-S's are on the "rarer" side? Maybe he was just bull shitting us.

No way... The base model would be a downgrade from a CR.

I might consider an STi BRZ for a daily driver but I'd keep the CR for AutoX and fun.

NO. I do think they look good, and finally saw a few on track two weekends ago and thought they looked great. I also sat in a FRS not too long ago. I think I am bored with my car right now and it may sound like fun to get a BRZ and get something new, but once I actually think about what that means I realize no way would i give up my CR for one.

I have a beater and the CR, but I am really craving a nice newer car to drive everyday which makes me keep thinking about selling both my cars and buying a new car to do it all...but then I drive the CR and realize I HAVE TO BE PATIENT and finish paying the CR off and then in another 1-2 years I can buy a nice new car for daily use and then forever keep my CR.

the FR-S are rare because they keep on popping the motor on them. 1 local dealership even had 3 motors pop on test drives.
