One of the family's requests upon Maury's passing was to have a Memorial Run. S-Cargo, SPT-S2K and I have all been in touch with Maury's son Dan and are working on pulling the details together. Dan has expressed his interest in having the run as soon as possible and will be sending us some potential dates. I know we hope to make this an annual thing to serve as the kick off to our Driving Season here at the Allegheny Club.

Paul and I have a route mapped out and have driven 2/3rds of it. IT IS AWESOME! Stay tuned for dates and more info!

We will be doing a 2 hour/85 mile cruise followed by lunch in Murrysville, PA.

As for Saturday morning once you arrive. You will be coming EAST on RT.22 and will make a U-turn at the light. You will have a green arrow and this is legal (I asked a cop the last time I saw one at this intersection). There will be a Get-Go gas station right there which is where I always fill up. They also have free air and decent coffee. You can use the bathrooms there and then cruise up to the hotel. At this point the hotel will be WEST of the gas station (back the way you came) and right behind the Lamp Lighter. You can go through the Lamp Lighter parking lot to get to the Holiday Inn. Or you can just look for my car as I may leave it out front by the gas station.

Bad news as of right now; I may not be able to make it. Put my battery in backwards. Now I have to run through all my fuses to make sure i didn't blow the ECU. I hope it's only a couple fuses, so I can make it.

 

I will keep everyone posted. I know for sure it will NOT be the weekend of May 11th or 18th because the family will be unavailable. I believe the weekend of the 4th is out as well but I am not 100% sure.
