Default Soft Top Protection

I recently bought a can of Tarrago Nano Protector for use on various sets of shoes (I've now progressed to wearing them ) and came across this video of a soft top treated with the same product. video link I've recently treated my soft top with a renovating kit but might consider this next time. Anyway, I thought it was worth sharing.

I applied two coats of Fabsil on Sunday and it's proved to be very effective against the few showers we've had.

Sounds interesting, how much did you need for two coats?

From a 1L bottle, hardly any it seemed. It can't have been more than 250ml (I suspect much less), so there's plenty left for a few more applications.

Hopefully not with any luck... it's supposed to be wall-to-wall sunshine after lunchtime today.

I think I meant the next few times when it rains, as for the next few days, hopefully the roof will be safely tucked away.

I've been using the Turtle Wax soft top clean/protect kit. Not too impressed so far - absolutely no sign of beading after rain. Could be applying it badly / not applying enough though I suppose! Keen to try something else and find something that work well before it's Winter all over again.

I used Fabsil Gold on my new Mohair roof. Beads lovely, but did need about 0.5-0.75L due to the mohair soaking more of it up than vinyl would.
