I check with Huy at Inline Racing if you're still looking for someone to drop the tranny on the NW side.

Damn totally forgot inline racing was over here.. Oh well just got off the phone with the shop and yelp a spring was hanging happily out of the clutch disk. Said it didnt eject but it was about to. Was just hanging around in there scratching the fk out of the pressure plate. Looks like ill be getting an OEM disk+PP.. Ill post gruesome pics as soon as I get the car back. -1000$ Thank you competition clutch! Solid year and a half of use.. Will be writing a full review when parts come back

Was it grinding when letting out or pressing the pedal in?

Letting out meaning engaging the clutch.

I have had my car grind going into 2nd gear during daily driving and it is hard to get into 1st or reverse. Just got my CMC and slave right now.

The verdict is..
Spring came out! Knew I was right! NEVER buy a competition clutch. I use my car as a daily and have never tracked it. I drive spirited at times, but never any hard launches or excessive force on the clutch. 1200$ mistake.. I now have a completely OEM clutch system.

What about that spring at the bottom? It looks like it was also about to go?

Yelp it was cracked on the housing. Waiting to go. Really lucky it didnt actually pop out. Well the PP would of took most of the force anyways

Nope, tranny shifts fine! On a side note I am getting the clutch framed to remind me on why I only use OEM parts! Will post pics when mini project is complete
