Default B Street Sway bar.

Being the rates on my 2000 sway bars are 391/ 427 What is my best option? My budget doesn't allow spending the money on a Gendron or Arkeny setup. I can get a Eibach brand new for about cost which makes it really affordable but it's effective rate is only 416lbs. Is that even worth it? I am actively looking for used Saner but I'm not having any luck. Would it be a bad idea to just put a NC bar on the rear to get balance or is that a bad idea? I have yet to autocross the car on stock suspension but I ran about 10 events on the buddy clubs it came with. The car was a little tailhappy and underdampened with that setup. Any input would be appreciated.

i think white line also makes one.

not sure if youve seen this. https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/904...rep-sway-bars/ that might help you with your decision.

If I could find a answer on it's effective rate, I would think about it.

well from the numbers you gave, it seems the eibach is a little stiffer and might provide a slight improvement.

in B street you can only make one sway bar adjustment. to save money i would just remove the RSB and see how that works out for you.

then maybe you can make a better decision if you want a miata bar for the rear. personally i would wait and save money to get a good bar.

if you are gonna be autocrossing anyways save up and buy a bar that you can use as you move up in class. ( if you move up at all )

The Moddiction one seems to be a unicorn at this point. I just find it hard to justify the 600+ on just a front sway bar. My car will have zII's this season.

its hard to justify it, but at the same time i shelled out for the gendron bar last year when i first started auto X. and it was the best purchase so far. it will serve you well if you are serious about autocrossing. but yes darcy is right, tires!!!!!!

Yeah, I'm not new to the sport, just the chassis. I should've bought stock in tire companies a long time ago. I will probably go through 2 sets of rears this year with the amount autox, summer driving and maybe a track day or 2.

i would def spring for a good sway bar. maybe Im not driving hard enough but i did almost a full season with SCCA and other clubs. must have been atleast 10-12 events with my ZII's and they are holding up like a champ. given one day was half rain and half dry conditions.
