this is a common mod for stronger pressure plate/clutches to eliminate dry start on the crank thrust washers. even stock clutch, this saves the washers

I know this thread is old but does anyone have the part number for this? Mine just went out and I used a paper clip to fix it temporarily

You looking for a part number on the little plastic part? Don't know it but these parts are on several (maybe all) manual gearbox Hondas and the guy at the parts counter will have them in stock.

The white pointy one although the point may only be there for ease of assembly. There are three (3) in there. I had all three replaced last Summer as preventive maintenance. My only Honda dealer service visit other than the annual Virginia inspection in the past 10 years. With apologies to the Coast Guard "You have to crawl under the dash but you don't have to get out."

Someone about this time posts the drawing from the Service Manual showing where they are.
