Default Turbo & Supercharged Cams

After searching for a Cam Manufacture for 18 months and talking with 6 different designers & manufactures, we finally found lucky number 6?!
We have found an experienced company that shares our design philosophy of reliability 1st, most valve lift per duration 2nd and 3rd can get billet cores in a timely & economical manner.

At URGE & Endyn, we focus on headwork and bulletproof bottom ends. We don't offer turbo/SC kits and don't have any in the shop to mount to an engine to dyno test on our engine dyno.
So we are looking for 1 Turbocharged Car & 1 Supercharged Car to Partner with us to produce a before and after dyno of our cam gains in a timely manner.
  • Must have a Fully Programable ECU
  • Must have a tuner that knows your car and has tuned your kit before
  • Must have access, the desire and time to produce a before an after dyno of our cams
  • Must have a mechanic that can change out your valve springs to a specified Dual Valve Spring kit

Here are a few notes of our cams
  • [*]

For a Before and After Dyno we will offer the cams well below cost at $550 ($1100 is predicted future price)
Our Valve Control Spring Kit for $450 (Also below cost, typical price is $600), kit includes URGE/Endyn spec wound dual valve springs, Ti retainers, seat bases & locks
Or you can purchase the Supertech SPRK-H1021D-KIT on your own, typically less than $400 from many dealers
We will ask for a deposit of $500 on a separate invoice, in addition to the discounted cost of cams and or Springs that will be held till dyno is produced

We expect these cams in our hands in 3-4 weeks

Please email us if interested and provide us with the following
  1. Type of Turbo or Supercharger kit you have
  2. Your ECU type
  3. Your Tuner, Shop and Dyno you plan to use

We hope to hear from a few of y'all..

Looks like we have our turbo charged parter..

5k+ rpm vtec transition point? That's far too high for a supercharged application. Leaving a lot on the table. 3500rpm and 27% throttle opening is where I found my high boost sc start to make positive pressure and naturally wants vtec. Turbo I imagine is completely different with the manifold and turbo size dictating this. I hope your not offering the same cam for both applications.

Our Non VTEC lobes are large allowing VTEC to move back up, not quite to stock but higher than 3500-4200 most people set it at due to 4mm+ Difference in OEM lobe height. More Low & Mid torque, better drivability and transition.

Exhaust profiles are different
Turbo is focused on Quick Spool & Torque Build up
Supercharger focused on raising and flattening torque curve..

Lots of manufacturers have tried to make turbo cams but they have all proven to be worst than stock cams. Your typical turbo s2000 is at 400-400whp with a stock moto/stock head and stock cams. +50whp from a simple cam swap sure does sound good if it is possible.

Do you have the lift/duration numbers?

So these will not eliminate vtec?

with my kraftwerks SC I have tried the I-vtec set-up, the skunk2 turbo cams, then camshaft key ways from some one on here. NONE worked, always went back to stock cams. I would love to see something work for the supercharger.

I like your idea of a much wilder low end cam, I think there my be some bottom end torque to be gained but not much and maybe only from 2-4k. I run my Rotrex with vtec. At 2600 rpm and still feel a power kick so having a better base cam would improve low end response. But it's a lot of money even with the offer to be an unpaid development engineer, put the effort in and report back if there's a worthwhile gain. I would do all the work and give a comprehensive report. If you sent me the parts to test free of charge. I have a car ready. Just a thought
