Spoon Sports USA will be hosting the “I heart Honda” Festival on May 17, 2014 at Auto Club Speedway. It’s a popular Honda themed event that Spoon puts on in Japan and we’re bringing it to the US. We’ll be co-hosting the event with Redline Time Attack so the festival will consists of a track day, car show, vendor marketplace, and more. We will have the Spoon E-AT, FD2, CR-Z, and NSX race cars from Japan and we’ll be running them on track throughout the day.

With your entry fee you'll be automatically entered to win lots of prizes from sponsors like Yokohama Tires, Rays Wheels, Cusco, Winmax, and many many more. Those who enter the car show will get VIP parking, free entry, and a chance to win trophies and more prizes! During the trackday there will also be a fastest lap competition for all the Hondas:


Group N - no aero
Aftermarket wing, splitter (flat external board) prohibited (NOT lips or spoilers, which have one unique location for installation)
Forced induction, K-swap in non-K chassis prohibited
Treadwear 140+ tires only
2 second handicap for either 201+ treadwear tire set, or non-VTEC / single cam engine

Group A - aero
Choose one of the three options below:
A: aftermarket wing (+ splitter)
B: treadwear rated below 99
C: forced induction

Group B - unlimited

Best 3 of the 5 events count for series winner.
Points: 1st = 9, 2nd = 6, 3rd = 4, 4th = 3, 5th = 2, 6th and slower = 1
Bonus 1 point for personal best achieved in session 4

It is a big Honda Festival/Meet/Track Day. We'll have 4 Spoon race cars from Japan and other notable cars running the track for people to watch and hear in person. There will also be lots of raffle prizes from show sponsors and a car show with trophies and prizes awarded.
