Soft top replacement in Seattle area?
Hey everyone,
I have an '01 with a plastic rear window, and sadly when I went to drop the top recently the plastic decided to finally give out and tore about a foot wide. I'm looking to upgrade to a Robbins top with glass but I'm struggling to find a reputable local installer with experience in S2K soft-tops. Does anyone have a recommendation for a local installer that could handle the replacement? Thanks in advance!

This is something I'm considering myself though I'm leaning toward an OEM top. The plastic window is not ideal to say the least. I'm not sure where best to take it as far as shops go, but there is a DIY although it looks time consuming and presumably difficult.

It's really not that difficult to do it yourself, maybe put aside one Saturday to get it done. The DIY is pretty spot on. If you're set on letting someone eles install it, search the forums, I'm sure there are a few members on here who installed a new soft-top more than once.
I did it on my S a few months ago and its easy just time consuming. You can order from eztops or robbins, but robbins top prefer to only sell it to shops not residential shipping or personal purchase. I dont know why but thats what I was told when I tried to call and place an order with them.
