Default I need a Winter Tire setup recommendation

I live in NYC and I've always dailied my car. In the past I've enjoyed Dunlop SP WinterSport 3D (front) and WinterSport M3 (rear) which I bought brand new and were awesome tires. My next set of winters was a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks which were slightly used which I bought from another member on a set of AP1 wheels. Both of these setups were awesome and wet grip and traction even in deep snow were excellent. Time has come and again I need a set of winter tires. Problem is that now I need another set of winter tires and it seems they aren't manufacturing either of these tires in S2000 sizes anymore. BTW I always run 16" wheels setup.
My Dunlops were 225/50/16 and 205/55/16. I forget what size the Blizzaks are but I think they are a square 205/55/16.
I need to be at work very early in the morning daily sometimes before the side streets are plowed out and sometimes I may have to leave work late in the midst of a snow storm. Translated I need something that WILL go in deep snow and grip the highway well in the wet. So what is everyone running now for their winter setup?

imho, you've tried more than most so you'd probably know better than anyone.
for me, the wintersports feel less rollie pollie compared to the blizzaks, but blizzaks might be a touch better.

if you want to try a new winter tire, try nokian. I havent tried them myself yet, but i've heard many good things.

I just got 205/60/16 Yokohama Iceguards installed on a set of AP1 wheels. Taller than stock tires but I'll get a tiny bit more ground clearance. They are still sitting in the garage. I'll probably be putting them on next weekend before I head up to Cleveland.

I went with 205/60-16 front and 225/55-16 rear WinterSport 3Ds last year (previously ran your 3D front/M3 rear in stock size setup). Just swapped out the Summer wheels/tires for them again yesterday. Looking forward to the snow

I used Falken Eurowinter tires last year. I got caught in a white out blizzard in a mountain pass with at least 2-3" of snow on the ground. The car was a blast to drive. Then when it was dry I had them up to 85 and they were fine. I don't have any experience with other snow tires, I am unclear how they feel compared to the Blizzaks and what not.

comparing the dunlop wintersport I used on my oem 17s and the hankook icebear that are on the ap1 wheels I am currently trying to sell I felt that the dunlops were better "performance" wise in the dry,...maybe because of the larger size? but I didnt get stuck with either while they were in use. The dunlops had a lot more tread squirm in the dry and wore much faster than i was expecting. I havent used the hankooks much

For 17" winter tires, would you recommend 215/50 and 245/45 or 225/45 and 245/40? Looking at Dunlop winter sports and 215/45 is not available.
