Right on! You doing the work or you have a shop taking it on? This swap seems to be gaining popularity. I figure by the time i may hop on the bandwagon, we might have more support locally for this swap. Ideally id like to drop of the car, say do it and get it back ready to drive. But i dont think there is any reputable shops around here in the PacNW that can offer that level of support and expertise/familiarity. I hate paying for other peoples education. Ive already paid for my own two fold with the Honda power plant lol.

Junky,

I'm doing all the work. I bought a conversion harness that's supposed to be plug and play, it's not in yet so we have yet to see. Rear end is definitely the hardest part as it's all my design and totally open to not working. Couldn't have done it without the machine at my work. If you've got the bux for one of the other rear end installs it's not too bad of a project. Takes balls to start cutting major chunks out of the car but the number of successful cars on the road makes it easier. I've made quite a few small changes to the supplied kit, some things didn't fit as well as I was hoping. AC will be the next part that takes a lot of thinking. Probably another month or so, we'll see.

Lig,

Diff is nails! Same one used in the 350Z and the Armada. It's about 15 lbs heavier than the stock and the mounts add another 4-5 but should be worth the weight. Hoping to be able to offer this setup after I get some mileage and abuse on it. Nissan forums don't have much info but it should be good for 7-800 ft/lbs or more. Mount is designed to 1000 ft lbs for shock load tolerance.

Props to you for taking it on and of course your own custom work

Is there an optional adapter plate to utilize the stock trans if your a gambling man, or you using a T56? I might roll the dice once or twice myself just becuase I hate to lose such a great shifting trans unless absolutely necessary. The rear end is a given.
