Default New S delivered today

6 months of riding the bike every day, exhilarating though it is, has now come to an end (sort of) because my new S turned up on the back of a lorry today. Its such a great feeling to get behind that Honda wheel again!

I'm trying to baby it into service but its really hard not to drive it like my last one.
I haven't even read the manual yet. After signing a few forms and checking the paintwork, I just got straight in it and went for a spin. I felt at home in it after about 60 seconds of looking at the changes between this and my '00.

quick questions (in time for my journey home tonight) .....
Do I have to run it in ...and do they do an initial service after any kind of run in period?

No VTEC for the first 600 miles, then increase it by 1,000 rpm for each hundred miles thereafter.

No mandatory service until 12 months or 9,000 miles, although there's an optional oil change at 4,500 miles.

I'd already considered that. OK ... good point!

tomorrow. I don't want people at work to think I'm obsessed with it so I need to take some pictures 'in secret'
