So I gutted the 3rd brake light and made it 50% slimmer before molding it onto the trunk.
50% slimmer does not equal total elimination.

Relocating the battery in the trunk.



Cody's got this one.





Running the positive cable to the back.


Test fitted. It needs to be raised up and levelled a little.


The view from the bottom.



Just ordered new battery terminal connectors and inline fuse. Should be installed by end of this week.

Nice work Ray! Lovin that hammer black engine bay...

How are you gonna get to the battery if it dies to jump it since the trunk key hole has been shaved, are you setting up a remote post in the engine bay?

He can use his key directly to open the door (lol I don't think I've ever done that on my S2000) and use the button in the glovebox
