Default VSA light & Traction Control light on

Has this happened to anyone yet?

I checked the Owner's Manual and all it says is to bring it to the dealer. It suggested to turn the car off and turn it back on, which I did, the they're both still on. I did some research and some people even tried resetting the ECU by taking off the negative battery terminal but it didn't do anything. Other than that, I couldn't find a definite answers as what it could be. I did bring back the old threads to see if anything comes up. Just wanted to see if any locals have run into the same issue yet.

Mine just came on today and I wanted to see if I can see what it was before bringing it to the dealer. I also have Bilstein coil-overs, so I don't know if that will void any warranty work for this VSA issue. I've had the coil-overs on for a while now without any issues, so I doubt it has to do with that. Maybe a bad sensor?

Thanks,
Andre

Nope... no check engine light.

Some others posted and they said that I should check the brake fluid level, which was a recommendation from a dealership that guy went to. He said that he filled his brake fluid and it went away.

I'll check that out when I get out to my car again. I just don't see how that would affect the VSA... weird and interesting... haha.

So the light ended up just turning off without me doing anything at all. All I did was get in the car and turn it on like every other single time, and it no longer is on.

I ended up doing some more research about it and some say that happens where it disappears for for a few months and then comes back. So I guess we'll see what happens and then go from there.

But while the lights were on, I wanted to see if some sort of VSA or Traction Control existed, so I took the car out for a little

I ended up having a little fun from stops and around some slow turns where the rear end was swinging out nicely (done on dead roads by the meadows near my house).

Well... Saturday the stupid VSA light decided to come on again and stay on for the remainder of the day. I guess it really likes saturdays... lol.

But on top of that, my E-brake light wouldn't turn off when I put the E-brake down. So I wanted to see if the ECU was reading that the E-brake was on, so I pulled the E-brake up while driving and it started beeping right away to let me know it was up. I put it back down and the beeping stops.

Well... later in the day, I took the car out to see what would happen, and right after I pull out of the driveway, the E-brake light turned off. Then when I left my GF's house when I was coming back home, the VSA light didn't come on.

This is some funky stuff. I'll probably have the dealer check out the VSA randomness, but any ideas about the E-brake light staying on?

Do you guys think it could be cause of the cold weather? The car is garage kept (non-heated) all week until the weekends. I know when a car sits around it isn't good, but one week intervals shouldn't really do much at all.
