My best mate has asked me to drive her to her wedding in May and I need some advice on how to attach a bow and ribbon to the S.
Guessing I need to catch it with the bonnet catch at the front, but are the mirrors best then as I couldn't really see how to attach it higher up?

 

Hasn't someone done this to their S before on here? - I'm sure they have and they posted a thread up, so maybe do a search

Thanks plastic91 - guess they must have tied them to the sun visors - looks much better higher up than the mirrors - will have a good look at it tomorrow

 

I'm sure they would wrap around the soft top catches somehow?

 

But the roof will be down (if the weather's ok) so there's only indents left - my first thought was that they could be tied there then I couldn't see how.

Good old sellotape

 

When I did mine I hooked it under the bonnet catch and closed the bonnet and then ran then up over the windscreen and into the top of the car with the roof open and tied them to the sun visor anchor.

Worked perfectly but if it rains not as clever as going over the wing mirrors like you see above.

Also if you are 'OCD' about your paint then these ribbons will slightly marr / scratch a dark car so I would suggest putting some 3M tape around the point where the ribbon comes round and over the front of the bonnet.
