I don't understand why the emanage gets such a bad rap... I have never had a problem out of mine. My car feels like it was stock with a turbo. Cheaper tuning, don't have to worry about buying extra crap like a temp gauge fix... the AEM has it's flaws, but no one seems to harp on them. The emanage is a great system if used correctly.

And they are pretty cheaply had with a harness.

There is no need for the temperature gauge fix for EMS if your hooking up a AEM serial gauge.

Do whatever is in your budget. Both systems are more than capable.

When I think of Greddy emanage vs. AEM EMS the biggest thing that jumps out to me is OBDII functionality. My understanding is that with eManage you'll be fine, but with the AEM EMS it will no longer work. If your state requires plugging into the OBDII port for inspections you may need to get "creative" around inpection time.

eman ult will do the job. has o2 fb, can control fuel and timing. its a strong system. it gets a bad rap becuase hardly anyone can tune it right. if noone knows how to use it then it sucks becuase the people that try to use it suck.

nearly all tuners know aem ems.

now, they are two different systems, one is stand alone, and the other is a piggyback.

i like aem ems, yes becuase i use it and yes becuase i have had great use outa it. sure it has its hiccups, temp fix is a joke though, serial gauge and boom you have 19 gauges at your finger tip. or 80 bucks and modifry fix and your set.

i been on aem ems for 3 years now, bout 25k miles and it kicks ass.

now if you have emissions testing , then yeah aem ems your screwed. eman ult u got a chance.

choose the one that you can afford, that your tuner knows how to use, and that will work with your emmisions compliance if needed.

both work well up to a point......but sooner or later changing what a stock ecu is saying to something else gets less efficient than just telling the motor exactly what to do.

if you havent picked a tuner yet, tony at t1 is around 200 miles away from you. call him and ask what he thinks. or see if mase is coming into your area anytime soon. if so then ask him what he thinks.
