I tried a myriad of things and ended up melting my rear light with a hair drier.

My advice to you - live with it, or buy a new light

I agree, I live with mine, fecking pain in the arse to be honest, but as Ron says there is nothing you can do about it, other than buying brand new lights and hoping they don't do the same thing ... as mine did ... ironically the originals never did mist up

I recently had a pool of water in the well of the boot. I noticed it soon after it occurred, and took appropriate action to dry everything out, and to prevent a reoccurrence.

At the time I noticed that the N/S/R light fitting (where the felt boot lining was soaking wet) had misted up. The action I took to dry the boot out resolved this problem.

It would be worth checking to make sure that this is not the cause of your problem!

you can bake and reseal but most of time it goes wrong. Just dont get your C's confused with youf F's (Ian lol). I resealed my front light + put a bag of that do not eat stuff in for good measure and it still steamed up. one of the few crappy things about the S im afraid.

I had this with the last car, I put a bag silica desiccant? in the reverse light (attach to a length of sewing thread to aid removal), it took a bit of time but it did clear it up, check the boot for water ingress, cause if the carpet's damp it will return.

I've recently noticed my R/O/S tail light has started to mist up...it was fine before Honda removed the tail light to remove a dent in the rear wing.....its going into Honda this Friday to hopefully sort it out!

Could just drill some little holes in the back/bottom of it (on the inside of course) it'll allow it to ventilate and drain it at the same time, worked a treat with my crx lights.
