is that a black coat that prevents corrosion similar to what powerslot rotors come with?

that is not bad at all for the price of an aftermarket rotors replacement vs. oem rotors.

I wonder what the weight of cpr vs oem rotors.

The cpr rotor hub and disc are well color coordinated in-term of function and cosmetic

Correct, it has a nice black coating that will keep the hats from looking gross and rusty

any idea what the difference between these and the powerslots besides the actual slots...why are these so much less??

Yea, i have a number of sets in stock. Shouldnt be a problem. We'll be closed between Xmas and newyears, so just shoot me a PM so i can arrange a time for us to meet up. I'll be in the office randomly that week to do a thing or 2.

These rotors do not have slots in them though Centric does make a slotted version that is the same as the powerslot. same part number etc.
