Default Your record miles per tank?

Let me start by saying that I usually really don't care about my mpg because paying too much attention to it kindof spoils the fun of the car, but I do at least have a habit of reseting my trip counter on every fill-up and noting the miles I was able to make on the last tank. I usually am able to get about 10.2 gallons in the car before the pump stops, and I usually get between 230 and 250 miles on a tank.

However, this tank (no nanny driving to increase mileage) has brought me to 267 miles, and the gas light isn't even on yet (2 bars left last time I checked).

Has anyone made it 300 miles on a tank? How far do you usually go between fill-ups?

I've made it to 315 on a tank once. Was NA then but was top down doing 80 mph with 4.77 gears. All highway driving up 95 from FL.
Best tank I have gotten. I have gotten over 300 miles on a tank twice though.

I record all my gas fill ups since the past couple of months on an app on my phone and I average around 300 to the tank and everytime I fill up its at least 10 gallons. I average about 9 days before going to the pump. I can go from Jacksonville, NC to Hickory in one tank.

I managed 332 milles on a tank on a trip from Charlotte to the coast. I refilled about 10.5-11 gallons. I didn't do anything like draft trucks or anything. It was actually pretty easy after running a tank of gas with a can of 44K. I am a huge advocate of the stuff. The best I could do before I discovered it was 310 miles on a tank drafting and doing whatever I could to get better MPG. If you are not familiar with 44K, I highly recommend it. It's not like a typical fuel additive that increases octane a little or convince you blue flames will shoot out your exhaust do-to the extreme nature of their product. 44K is a once a year/ever 12k mile additive that actually does clean your combustion bits. They even tell you to remove a spark-plug and look down into the combustion chamber before and after you run a tank through. It's about $25 a can and you won't find it at an auto parts store but you can find it all over the net.

On average, I get about 2-3 mpg (mixed) more after I started using 44K annually based on 6 year worth of driving it.

For what it's worth:

2001 S2000
148,000 miles
I've always use Mobil1
K&N FIPK

Best I've gotten on a tank (which is around 11.5 gallons since I never completely empty it) was ~305 miles.

I got closer to 350 one time (cant remember the exact number but slightly under that) because I drove longer than expected looking for a gas station. It was mostly highway driving, and I did a rough estimate of mpg after the fill up and it was 31 mpg.

I sold a civic hybrid to get my S2000. I'm of the opinion now that if you're worried about that, you're not having any fun.
