Although it has been noted before by our Community Organizers, I thought a reminder won’t do any harm.

As you can see from my profile, I am a member of the Greek community and as such I have written posts and pm’s using the Greek alphabet. From the day of the upgrade, I have lost ALL my pm’s (and everyone else’s with Greek) since the characters of the Greek alphabet appear with strange numbers. Apart from the pm’s all the posts previously in Greek again appear with strange numbers.

These problems as you can imagine are not only my concern, but the Greek Community’s and everyone else’s that has been and still uses the Greek alphabet.

I understand that its all Greek to you anyway, but for some of us, languages and how they appear do make a difference.

Could you please let us know if these are going to be fixed, and if yes then the anticipated time/date of repair.

It will be fixed but requires writing special tools to rebuild and freshen those specific posts and PMs. I can't say when exactly but it's very high on the list.

5 months later, and still nothing dude... When you were saying "very high on the list", did you really mean that, or just only hoped that those folks in greece will hopefully forget it after some time?

Since its renewal time, I will not renew my membership since it does not offers me much. Unfortunately, a lot of members from the Greek Community feel the same way. We have lost 'valuable' information in our pm's and no one cares. I dont see how I should for the site that does not supports me.

 

Probably we Greeks no longer deserve any kind of attention or even response...

To be honest i, personally, dont give a shit about the pms but this apathy starts breaking my nerves...IS CTHREE AN ADMIN OR WHAT????????
