Ok guys, here is the scoop. The drive is a go!

Dates are Friday September 30th-Sunday October 2, 2011! Staying in Greer for two nights

September 30th - Meeting in Chandler Tempe area for lunch and open house, then group drive to Greer.

October 1st - Saturday morning we head south on HWY 191 (HWY666), turn off onto 180 through N.M. then head back into AZ at Morenci. From there we head North up HWY 191 (HWY666) back to Greer for the night.

October 2nd - Breakfast, hangout, then head back to PHX mid to late morning.

Links to the town of Greer, and to one of the Hotel ideas I have. Also looking for activities for the women, who I have learned really may not enjoy this drive/ride. Hoping to find stuff for them to stay behind in Greer and do as a group, if they don't want to ride shotgun during Saturday's drive.

If you'd like neighboring state participants I am from Holloman AFB, New Mexico. These dates look free for me, and I have always wanted to check out this highway.
